Jacksonville, FL – The Jacksonville Black Chamber of Commerce (JBCC) proudly announces Therese V. Wakefield-Gamble as Vice President. Therese brings a distinguished background in business development, education, and community advocacy and is dedicated to empowering Black and Brown businesses in Jacksonville through certification and strategic growth.
In her new role, Therese will lead JBCC’s initiatives to support Black and Brown businesses in obtaining federal, state, and local certifications, unlocking opportunities to secure government contracts. Her efforts will guide these businesses in creating streamlined business profiles, potentially opening revenue streams in the millions while ensuring long-term sustainability.
Therese is also the Founder and Chief Administrative Officer of Concierge Resource Professional Consultants, LLC (CRPCNOW), a Jacksonville-based consultancy established in 2015. CRPCNOW is a beacon of operational excellence, led by Therese, a Charismatic Executive Administrative Architect specializing in crafting strategic Standard Operating Procedures that enhance business processes. CRPCNOW supports entrepreneurs, particularly those in underserved communities, by equipping them with foundational structures essential for growth and expanded access to contracting opportunities. Under her leadership, CRPCNOW has helped secure over $500,000 in donations and funding for local initiatives, strengthening Jacksonville’s business ecosystem.
In addition to her current roles, Therese is pursuing dual doctoral studies in Educational Leadership, specializing in Trauma-Informed Practices and Social Emotional Learning at National University. She is on the Graduate Dean's Honor List and a member of the *National Society of Leadership and Success, Kappa Delta Pi, and Omega Nu Lambda. Expected to graduate in May 2025, Therese is committed to equipping educators and business owners with Mental Health First Aid practices to foster resilient work environments.
A Jacksonville native, Therese is a proud alum of Ed White High School, Florida State College at Jacksonville, and Edward Waters University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She holds dual master’s degrees in Executive Business Administration and Education with Instructional Technology and is a certified Microsoft Innovator Trainer and Educator. Therese and her husband, Earnest Sr., have been married for 35 years. Together, they have two married sons and three grandchildren, all of whom inspire her commitment to building a prosperous community for future generations.
